THE PROCESS

Embarking on a Kambo journey is a deeply transformative experience that aligns with the body’s natural healing rhythms. Understanding the process helps you feel more comfortable and prepared, ensuring an optimal response to the medicine’s purifying power.

Before Your Kambo Session

Fasting: It’s important to fast for at least 8 hours before your Kambo session. This means avoiding food to help your body fully receive the medicine and to minimize any discomfort during the treatment.

During Your Kambo Session

Session Duration: A Kambo session typically lasts between 20 to 45 minutes. During this time, you’ll be guided to surrender to the process, allowing the medicine to cleanse and transform both your body and mind.

Application Process: Kambo is applied to small points on the skin, created by gently burning the top layer with a thin, glowing wooden stick. This enables the medicine to enter the lymphatic system directly, allowing for quick and effective absorption without passing through the digestive system.

Physical Reactions

As Kambo begins to take effect, you may experience a range of normal physical responses, including:

Skin flushing

Tingling sensations

Increased heart rate

Facial swelling

These reactions are signs of the body’s detoxification and emotional release. They are part of the purgative nature of Kambo, showing that the body is working to eliminate toxins and restore balance. Trust in the process and stay open to the sensations, knowing that deep purification and renewal are underway.

Hydration and Preparation

Hydration: While staying hydrated is important, avoid excessive water intake to prevent hyponatremia (electrolyte imbalance). On the day of your session, you may drink a small glass or two of water to maintain hydration. Additionally, you’ll be asked to consume 1 to 1.5 liters of water about 15 minutes before the medicine is applied to support the purging process.

By approaching your Kambo experience with awareness and trust, you create the space for profound healing, detoxification, and renewal.
